AMERICAN / BRITISH SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) TRIPLE PORTRAIT OF CHILDREN, oil on canvas, a waist-length depiction of a baby and two children, presumably siblings, in a landscape setting, the baby holding a silver rattle with coral handle, the girl wearing a memorial broach suspended on a coral necklace, no signature located. Canvas stenciled for Winsor & Newton, London. Housed in its probably original gilt and gesso frame. Circa 1840. 27" x 35 1/2" sight, 36 1/2" x 44" OA.

Condition Report: Very good visual condition, canvas with a small puncture and an old repair to two other punctures, inpainting to repairs and other areas. Frame with small losses and later paint, and cracking to the liner.
