Classic design for this type with large hooked and stepped medallion containing palmette cartouches and bold floral centrepiece. Linked light-blue floral spandrels. In stylised turtle-palmette border between flowering vine stripes. This carpet has slight wear to the pile, down to knot collar in few small places. Cord selvages slightly fraying. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general this carpet is in good usable condition. Very good colour combination and well balanced piece. Popular type at present market.
