the first of tapering rectangular section, the interior with provision for twenty one arrows, and the outer face sparsely inlaid with foliage (lid missing); the arrows with minor differences, one signed 'Aldred' each with short pointed bone tip, wooden haft swelling in the centre, feather flights (one missing, losses) and bone nocks; the second with short blunt iron heads, slender tapering wooden shafts, small bone nocks, and white feather flights, in a fitted wooden case inscribed 'W. Longman' on the lid
