AN INDIAN TULWAR WITH CHISELED BLADE, 19TH CEN.

A tulwar of impressive size featuring iron hilt decorated with circular design, blade engraved with floral motifs and figure on one side and floral motifs as well as a Buddhist monk made with gold inlay on the other. The wooden sheath is covered with red fabric with gold thread.
