AN ITALIAN MARBLE BUST OF A GODDESS, AFTER THE ANTIQUE, 16TH/17TH CENTURY
wearing a tunic falling from her right shoulder and leaving the breast bare, her separately-carved head turned sharply to her left, her centrally parted hair radiating from the crown, tied in a fillet, bound in a chignon at the back, and arranged in a top-knot, both ends of the fillet falling over the nape of her neck.
Height 53 cm.
