Japan, Taisho to early Showa period (1921-1945)
The large baluster-shaped vase decorated with a fine yellow ground and worked in musen-shippo (wireless technique) with lighter yellow enamels to depict subtle floral and foliate designs around the shoulder. The rim on the mouth and base applied silver plated, the underside with the Ando company mark.
HEIGHT 24 cm
Condition: Very good condition. Minor surface wear and small dents to brass rims.
