Reverse rendering after a painting by Antonio Joli in the Städel Museum in Frankfurt a. M. It was produced circa 1745 and was once attributed to Giovanni Paolo Pannini. It was acquired in 1816 as part of the collection of the donor Johann Friedrich Städel. The aquatint was probably made subsequent to the acquisition by an engraver who is no longer known today. - Rare.
