Condition Report:
MVT: running at the time of cataloguing and the chronograph functioning.
CASE: in honest condition with crisp engravings on the back. There are signs of use visible throughout, including some dings and scratches to the bezel, and there appears to be some oxidation, mainly visible to [take out the ‘to’]on the edge of the bezel. Please further note that one of the four screws to the lugs is missing.
DIAL: in very good condition. There appears to be a very fine scratch or fissure within the crystal around 7 o'clock.
Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts.
