Silver, carved, stamped and chiselled. Internal gilding. Rectangular, upwardly tapered foot on four spheres. High-powered wave frieze on the edge. The deeply mulched, godroned bowl over a flat node, the surface looks stoned. Wide open openwork edge with articulated acanthus volutes and palmettes. Swivel bracket Vegetable seed seed applied in the middle. Stamped 'Bergwitz' on the bottom of the ground (August Wilhelm Bergwitz, master since 1821, Riga).
