First Edition, with mixed points. This scarce book has the first edition points of 1875 printed on the copyright page, and 1876 on the title page. Later editions have a later year such as 1879. The binding is exceptionally nice, with minor wear to the spine ends and corners. Besides light wear to the panels, this copy is rich in colors. The pages are in good shape with the exception of the first five pages starting with the title page that have a tear to the right of the page. However, it doesn't effect any of the text, and for a book over 100 years old, it's hard to find a perfect copy. Besides some light soiling to a few other pages, the pages are in good shape. Overall, an attractive copy in collector's condition.
