After Cornelis Cornelisz Van Haarlem, Dutch 1562-1638- Allegory of Fortune; brown ink and wash on paper, 28.6 x 44.3 cm. (unframed) Note: The present work is a direct copy of the engraving by Jan Harmensz. Muller (1571-1628) of Fortune Distributing her Gifts, itself a copy, executed in reverse, of the painting by Van Haarlem currently in the Musee d'Art et d'Histoire de Geneve.
The sheet is stuck onto card at all four edges. Spots of foxing to the sheet in areas. Light creasing and tearing, particularly towards the edges, consistent with handling. Otherwise in fair condition overall.
