(After) Jules Moigniez (France, 1835-1894) was a French animalier sculptor active during the 19th Century. He primarily cast in bronze and was best known for his bronzes depicting birds. He also produced quality horse sculptures (primarily racehorses), dog sculptures and hunting scenes. His bird and dog sculptures were among the finest ever created during his time.

Material: Bronzed white metal.

Dimensions: Length: 10"; Width: 4 1/2"; Height: 9".

Condition: Broken tail, wear, bent base.

Age: Late 19th / early 20th Century.

Provenance: Private Estate.
