Condition Report:
The canvas is lined, and the paint surface is dirty with a yellowed varnish. There is evidence of wear throughout and the network of craquelure has become more pronounced in the darker pigments. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals the thick varnish underneath which pin-prick retouchings are visible throughout the composition, notably in the sky.
