A very finely painted Old Master version of this iconic religious theme . The artist has captured the subject very well and although the painting appears to have had minimum restoration, it appears to be in good condition for it's age. Note : The frame is original and we offer this as a gift due to it's delicate characteristics and we are happy to include this should the buyer wish to have it. There are two decorative mouldings missing in the lower section of the frame, but this does not detract from it's coeval aesthetics . These devotional style of paintings are getting more rare to find and this example is a lovely one . We are pleased to be able to offer it for auction .
