Albert Parlow, Oil on Board Painting

Oil on board painting by noted Meriden, CT artist and Handel Lamp decorator Albert Parlow (late 19th - early 20th century). Landscape with farmhouse, probably Connecticut. Impressionist brush strokes, and possibly influenced by scenes of France. Signed by artist in lower right corner. Painting has some chips in paint surface, exposing white primer. Framed, with frame in good condition. 17 1/2" by 14 1/2" (framed), 13 7/8" by 11" (board). Provenance: Acquired by Meriden Arts & Crafts Association, 1981.
