Beautiful anonymous engraving, taken from plate 12 of the series of 12 sheets "The Great Passion", engraved by Durer between 1497 and, after a long interruption, 1510, when he added four other plates to the first ones, including this one.
Monogram "AD" at bottom center.
The print, with very small margins, on laid paper with watermark "Van Gelder" letters, is in excellent condition (see photo) .
In the center, Christ on a cloud above the closed tomb, blesses with his right hand, holds a banner with his left; next to the tomb, various soldiers sleep.
