Wonderful vase in blown and hand-worked "opaline" Murano glass, with heat-blown wire, in blue color from the prestigious Murano company Venini.
The model in particular is a creation by Alessandro Mendini, Italian designer, honorary member of the Bezazel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. He has been awarded the Compasso d'Oro for design, the honor of the Architectural League of New York and is "Chevalier des Artes et Lettres" in France. His works can be found in various museums and collections.
