Alfa Romeo - Giulia Super 1.6 NO RESERVE - 1972

[ translate ]

This 1972 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super is a 1600 cc version with code 105. 26 and is highly sought after. It is the latest evolution of the “Giulia Super” series and has the advantage of the handbrake on the tunnel and a better braking circuit with power brakes, combining the still “retro” look of the chrome-plated grille with improved mechanics. Its history is known from day one. It was delivered new to Italy in the city of Milan, and in 1988 it was purchased in Palermo, Sicily, where it remained until 2021. The dry weather allowed the car to be preserved very well. An extract of the complete history is included. The car is very solid and is presented in its original “Beech Brown” colour with brown interior. The engine is original, with the correct engine designation matching registration papers. The car was repainted a few years ago and is still in good condition with some imperfection due to use (see the photos) . A new original Alfa Romeo rear carpet and a set of new spark plugs have just been fitted. This Alfa drives nicely, the gearbox is smooth and the brakes are efficient, the engine responds well. The wiring has just been checked. The Italian technical inspection was passed in September 2021 and is valid until September 2023 with no reports. The compression test gave excellent results; the feeler gauge test showed no major accidents (as shown in photos) . A video of the engine, car and driving is available. Please, contact Catawiki. Documents in order and ready for the transfer of ownership or export. Bidders are welcome to view and test the vehicle, which is located in Quarrata 51039, PT, Italy. Please, send a message to Catawiki for an appointment. We can arrange transfer of ownership and exports documents remotely. Affordable shipping throughout Italy, Europe and rest of the world.
