A 19th century American "Perry's Victory 1813" Banjo clock. 8-day weight driven time only movement with a painted Iron dial and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with Gilded front, Gilded Brass Eagle finial over a molded Brass dial door, tapered throat panel with applied rope moldings and reverse painted glass flanked by shaped Brass side arms, lower door with a reverse painted Naval Battle scene labeled "Perry's Victory 1813". Some dial wear, minor loss to Gilding, touch-ups to the glasses, replaced finial, running momentarily when cataloged. 33 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $2,000-3,000
