American primitive grain painted blanket chest. 19th century. Later screws and hinges on lid. Splits and cracks to wood across top of lid. Chips to wood throughout molding of lid. Large loss to wood on front section of lid molding. Deep scratches, scuffs, marks, and wear throughout. Chips and losses to wood throughout feet.
