A suite of 21 charming vernacular photographs capturing mid-century family life aboard the Great Lakes steamship SS North American around the Upper Peninsula area of Michigan. At the height of its popularity during the decade following WWII, the Georgian Bay Line of steamships ferried vacationers and workers to various points along the Great Lakes including Chicago, Detroit, and Cleveland.
