Description: Amphora Vase in Empire Style / — Mid 19th century / Square plinth with round foot and ovoid corpus, trumpet-shaped neck, two swan-shaped handles in full plastic form over palm leaf base; historicised interior on the front side with a pair reading letters, at the back side mountainous landscape, gold background covering the whole surface, swans of the handle in matt and glossy gold plating. At the base incised mark ''II''. H. 32,5 cm. - Gold rubbed in the foot area. // Amphorenvase im Empire-Stil M. 19. Jh. Auf quadratischer Plinthe runder Fuß und ovoider Korpus, trompetenförmiger Hals, an der Bauchung zwei vollplastische gestaltete Henkel in Schwanenform über Palmblattansatz; schauseitig historisierendes Interieur mit einem Paar, Briefe lesend, verso bergige Landschaft mit Anwesen, flächendeckender Goldfond, Schwäne in Matt- und Glanzvergoldung. An der Plinthe Ritzzeichen ''II''. H. 32,5 cm. - Gold im Fußbereich berieben.
