An 18ct gold diamond and gem-set floral brooch. The circular-shape pink sapphire stamen cluster, with baroque cultured pearl petal surround, to the baguette-cut diamond scrolling stem and pave-set diamond leaves. Estimated total diamond weight 3.75 to 4.25cts. French assay marks. Length 12.3cms. Weight 71.6gms. Purchasing information Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Some of the cultured pearl petals are slightly loose. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Diamonds with some minor to small inclusions under 10x magnification. Sapphires are a well matched medium purplish pink hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Sapphires in good condition. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source. Cultured pearls are baroque in form. Cultured pearls are a creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Cultured pearls in good condition with minor abrasions and some typical surface features.
