dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, within silvered slip engraved with leaf scroll ornament, to the eight day two train chain and fusee movement striking on a bell, the rear plate with engraved key border and Strike/Silent indicator, contained in rosewood case of Gothic pattern with angled top and twin pyramid pattern finials above triple cluster columns, the shaped base with turned and reeded bun feet, 14.5ins high
