shaped circular and on three foliage cast panel feet, with foliage and scroll border, engraved with an inscription within foliage engraved cartouche 30.5cm diameter, 25oz 14dwt, 800g The inscription reads 'Presented to L. B. Holliday, Esq, by the New York Employees of Mess'rs Read Holliday & Sons Ltd., on the Occasion of his Marriage March 31st 1908'.

Fully marked near rim. There is some wear to the marks but each is still legible. Further stamped underneath with maker's name. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving.
