An Edwardian silver rose bowl, the circular pedestal base leading to a bowl decorated with embossed flowers, scrolls and two vacant cartouches, hallmarked Fenton Brothers Ltd., Sheffield 1901, diameter 7.75" (9.5 cm). Together with a late Victorian circular dish, the sloping pierced sides decorated with swags, hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1899. Gross weight 22.73ozt (707 grams). (2).
Condition Report:
- Both bowls appear in a fairly good condition, with some surface wear, scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with age and use.
- The base of the rose bowl has compressed in areas, consequently causing the bowl to lean slightly to one side.
- The rose bowl displays very small crude engravings to the base.
- The Victorian dish has a large dent to the base, causing it to become misshaped.
