An Edwardian silver twin-handled pedestal bowl.

An Edwardian silver twin-handled bowl, the circular form with wrythen panels alternating plain and florally embossed, and a presentation engraving to one plain panel, with pierced scrolling handles and raised on a spread circular foot. Hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1902. Rim diameter 5.75" (14.5cm), weight 7.83 ozt (243.6 grams).

Condition Report:
Inscription reads, 'To the Revd. H. London. From 95 Parishioners. As a token of respect & esteem for 13 years work in Wimbledon. May 1903.' Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing to some areas and the whole would benefit from a clean and polish. Some minor surface dints. One handle is broken at the join to the rim. Possible repairs at other joins of handles. Hallmarks clear and legible. Maker's mark rubbed around one corner but still clearly legible. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
