An Egyptian bronze seated amulet of Harpokrates, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, depicted seated wearing side lock of youth and uraeus, hands on lap and suspension loop at back of neck. H: 2 1/8 in (5.4 cm). Thick patina. Ex collection of Maj. James Findlay, Scotland, acquired in the 1950's-60's, thence by descent; originally acquired in 1899.
