An Egyptian ceramic frog lamp, c. 2nd - 4th Century AD, ovoid in shape with stylized frog forelimbs around fill-hole, incised palm device on bottom. L: 2 3/4 in (7 cm). Well preserved with light deposits and the remains of carbon around wick-hole from use in antiquity. Ex Orange County private collection.
