An Egyptian molded terracotta head of a man, c. 1st Century BC/AD, with oval face and wearing a domed headdress, his features nicely detailed. An interesting piece which could be from the corner of a vessel. 3 in x 2 3/8 in (7.6 x 6 cm). Good example of Nile mud; Ex Royal Athena Galleries, New York City.
