An Egyptian seated limestone amulet of a baboon, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, the animals squats with hand to its face. 1 3/4 x 1 in (4.3 x 2.6 cm). An interesting little piece! Ex Massachusetts private collection acquired in the mid-1900's.
