With bright slightly curved blade double-edged over a third of its length to the point and inlaid in copper with three comet marks on one side towards the forte, figured hardwood grip (minor old split and small chips) of tapering circular section with characteristic swelling at the base, turned collar at the base above recurved quillons, the latter each terminating in a cast foliated hound's head, and pommel surmounted by a cast helmeted warrior's head
