With slender slightly curved blade (some wear and light pitting) double-edged towards the point and struck with profile Queen's head mark on each side, the forte on both sides retaining traces of punched and gilt foliage, hilt comprising recurved quillons each with cast foliated hound's head terminal, pommel-cap with cherub's heads between busts of Roman emperors and each against a finely punched ground, basal collar punched with foliate decoration, and natural buckhorn grip
