An Extremely Rare Figure of Bodhisattva Fugen, H- 37 cm. - Gilt lacquered wood - Fugen - Japan - Edo Period (1600-1868)

Please be advised that the present lot is very high quality and rare figure. Such objects can be very hard to find on the present art market. Please be also advised that the Fugen is with the original polychrome, gilt and the bronze lotus in his hands, the elephant figure has the original polychrome and the based is original as well. Most of those figures on the market now have lost their attributes (around 95%) or are heavily restored. This is a perfect piece. Condition: Wear, sign of use. The mandorla has been restored. Only with the original pieces. The pieces have been just glued. Furthermore very good condition for its age, original and complete piece. Please see all photos.
