the rectangular top centered with alabaster and surrounded by bands of Spanish brocatello, verde antico and light pink-orange marble, the later stand of neoclassical style with two ends, shaped as scrolls on hoof feet flanking a baluster-shaped stem on toupie foot, joined by a stretcher

Condition Report:
In overall good conserved condition. The top with minor hairline cracks to alabaster centre, some of which have been refilled. Some craquelure to Spanish brocatello band, some associated refilling and one area with replacement to the veneer (23x6cm). The outer border with a combination of two similar marbles, as visible in the catalogue image, with minor cracks, replacements, refilling and losses. This top shows a clear sign of age and despite its condition, this is an attractive and colourful top. The stand in good condition, minor old marks and scratches consistent with age and use, and with minor rubbing and scuffs to gilding.
