late 18th century
with a fixed lid, the two handles joined to an ovoid body, on a later waisted spreading socle, raised on a square base
58cm. high, 21cm. wide across handles; 1ft. 10¾in., 8¼in.
Condition Report:
In overall good conserved condition. Generally displaying minor old marks, small losses to the surface and minor scratches consistent with age and use. Some patches of replaced alabaster. The spreading socle and base are later and made of faux alabaster.
