An antique French rosewood cased mantle clock the shaped case with decorative inlay, carrying handles to the side and on brass bracket feet, the French movement striking the hours and half hours on a gong, the enamel dial with arabic numerals, 22cm wide x 14cm deep x 33cm high
The case with minor marks and signs of restoration, particularly to the back ridge of the case, boxwood stringing to the back lifting slightly, slight discolouration to the rosewood plinth on the right hand side, fading of the timber to the right hand side, the enamel dial with cracks and marks particularly around the adjustment spindle above the number 12, the movement clean but untested
