An attractive Greek footed kothon
An attractive Greek footed kothon, c. 4th - 3rd Century BC, the body rounded with rounded shoulders around central opening and flared ring foot. The horizontally orientated loop handle flanged by knobbed protrusion. L: 5 3/4 in (14.7 cm). A great example with well-preserved black glaze. Ex UK private collection acquired from Herakles Numismatics and Antiquities, Munich in early 2000's; previously belonging to a German private collection formed in the 1970's.
