An attractive faience beaded collar, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, nicely restrung from vibrant light blue tubular beads, each very well preserved. L: 16 1/4 in (41.2 cm). A nice example! Ex estate of Maria (Lila) Decatur Mayo Deyo Garnett, niece of Ruth Deyo; Ex collection of Ruth Deyo, acquired early-mid 1900's. Mrs. Deyo was a world-renowned musician and personality, well-known for her appreciation of Egyptian culture.
