An early 20th century 18ct gold curb-link bracelet, with three enamel initial panel spacers reading MER, suspending three gold enamel charms of a pig, pheasant and partridge.Length 17.1cms. 23.6gms.
Condition Report: Surface scratches and small marks.Bracelet shows general noticeable discolouration, with more minimal discolouration toward the clasp.Enamel with small frits and losses.Width 0.6cm.Charms are variously suspended from lower carat gold and base metal jump rings.Charms are gilded, general slgiht wear to the gilt finish.Pig charm is deficient a portion of one leg.The pig charm feels quite solid, the bird charms are hollow.Bracelet electronically tests as approximately 18ct gold.Charms electronically test between 15ct and 18ct gold.Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns. Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked.
