An early 20th century 18ct gold natural pearl and diamond cluster ring. The natural pearl, measuring approximately 8.6 by 8.4mms, with old-cut diamond marquise-shape surround. Verbal from GCS, stating natural, saltwater. Estimated total diamond weight 2 to 2.50cts. French assay marks. Ring size L1/2. Weight 7.6gms. Purchasing information Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. Discolouration focused to the shoulders and base of the head. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds generally with small light and dark inclusions under 10x magnification. Few appear to be surface reaching. Pearl is a creamy, slightly yellowish white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.

Pearls in good to fair condition with some typical surface blemishes and minor nacre damage.
