An early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver bowl, Poona circa 1910 Raj period, of compressed circular form with a fold over rim. The body with high relief embossed decoration in the Burmese style, of figures seated on a dias and dancing figures interspaced with trees all below strap work architraves with stylised leaves. The underside with a flat chased medallion of a peacock with a tree in the background. Diameter – 14.7 cm / 5.75 inches Weight – 323 grams / 10.38 ozt
