An early 20th century Chinese export silver tea caddy, Shanghai or Hong Kong circa 1920, marked Qing, retailed by Kwan Wo of Canton or Hong Kong Republic period. Of rounded jar form with a pull off cylindrical cap. The body with embossed decoration of a trailing Chinese dragon chasing the sacred pearl as a vacant circular cartouche, all between fluted band. Marked underneath with artisan mark 慶 (QING), and retailer’s KW. Height – 13.1 cm / 5.1 inches Weight – 169 grams / 5.43 ozt
