An early 20th century French Art Nouveau 18 carat gold ladies nail necessaire pen knife, Paris 1895-1919 probably by Oblatt Rodolphe & Melkenstein Isidore (reg. 1895/7)
Of elongated oval form decorated with stylised organic forms and a suspension loop. The steel interior with scissors, glove hook, knife blade, and nail pick file combined. Marked to the body panels, the suspension ring and retaining loop and ring attachment.
