An early 20th century gold sapphire, diamond, seed pearl and white enamel brooch. Sapphire weight 4.79cts.Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 0.10ct, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Length 3.8cms. 9.4gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good to fair.
Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight estimation and colour and clarity assessment.
Sapphire is a deep, medium slightly violetish blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Moderate windowing effect.
Sapphire in good condition.
Estimated dimensions of the sapphire 11 by 9 by 5.2mms.
Seed pearls in good condition.
Enamel with slightly yellowish discolouration to one length.
Width 1.3cms.
