An early 20th century natural pearl two-row necklace. Comprising two slightly graduated pearl lines, measuring approximately 7.1 to 4.4mms, to the pearl and single-cut diamond floral cluster clasp. With report 79203-22, dated 4th March 2019, from GCS, stating natural, saltwater. Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct. Length 49.5cms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear in keeping with general age and wear.
Diamonds well matched.
Diamonds bright.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds with some small inclusions under 10x magnification. Some with minor cavities.
Natural pearls generally in good condition, some with minor to moderate nacre damage.

Pearl to the clasp untested due to setting restrictions.
Clasp tests as approximately 10ct gold.
Diameter of clasp 1.3cms.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
