nine graduated oval shaped cabochon opals, length from 5 to 6mm, each separated by two rose cut diamonds, inside diameter 6cm, width 6.9mm, personal engraving 'FROM CISSIE TO JANIE 16th OCT 1912', push-in clasp with safety chain, unmarked, tested as 9ct gold, weight 12.1g, cased

Condition report:

Overall condition: Fair to good

Abrasion to all opals, with the central opal noticeably chipped to one end

Heavy abrasion and chipping to diamonds,

Settings worn with claws missing, attention required

Visible soldre joins with minor porosity

Tarnishing to mount with general heavy scratching

Clasp opens and closes positively

Heavy wear to fitted case
