An early to mid 20th century French Van Cleef & Arpels 18ct gold and diamond set oval cluster dress ring, the centre cushion shaped old European cut stone weighing approximately 2.20ct, with an estimated colour and clarity of L/M and VVS, bordered by sixteen eight cut diamonds and outer border set with seventeen early/modern brilliant cut diamonds, total weight approximately 1.20ct, shank interior faintly signed 'Van Cleef', size O, gross weight 5.1 grams.
With copy of Goldsmiths insurance valuation dated 24/11/2006. Minor nicks and scratches to the shank and settings in places, commensurate with age and some use. Signature very faint.
