An elegant Qajar gold damascened steel ewer. 19th century

Globular body on a splayed circular foot, with a long neck interrupted by a bulge and a wide rim, covered by a domed lid with a spiked finial; a curved handle and a tall, slender spout. The body engraved with an ornamental cartouche, with further details in fine golden lines.
