An exceptional natural Burmese ruby and diamond ring
20th Century
Designed as a cluster ring centred by a cushion-cut ruby and surrounded by 28 marquise and modern brilliant-cut diamonds.
Estimated total diamond weight 1.50 ct colour G-H, clarity ca. VS. Accompanied by a NEL certificate, numbered E19231 stating that the ruby shows no signs of heat treatment and shows characteristics of Burmese origin.
Central stone measuring approx. 9.6 x 8.4 mm (depth not measurable)
Ring size: 59 / 19¾
Graded and measured in mount
Note:
This stunning ruby ring contains a magnificent unheated Burmese ruby. Burmese ruby is the most sought after variety of ruby gemstone. It is remarkably popular for its passionate colour, relatively superior clarity and value. Burmese rubies are exceptionally rare and valuable.

The ruby in this ring is exactly as its produced by mother nature, with its natural beauty and characteristics not enhanced in any way. The fact that it’s very common for Burma rubies to go through heat treatment, makes unheated rubies such as this one, extremely rare and therefore much more valuable. A completely untreated Burmese ruby in this size and quality, is a very special phenomenon on today’s market.
